I am a young artist living in Southern California. My
images distort everyday life, delicately balancing between beauty and
morbidity. Though at times my art is labeled as creepy, what my work
attempts is to make the ordinary extraordinary and invoke a sense of
wonder. In doing so I hope to open people's minds to the depth of beauty
that surrounds our daily lives.
I recently received an AA in Art at Crafton Hills Community College and was the president of Crafton Hills Art Club. I've
been published in the Sand Canyon Review and have had work shown at the
Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. I will soon be working on my BA
at the University of California Irvine. I am just entering into the art
world, but I am immensely motivated to create a career
in art.
I will not become a starving artist like my mother keeps warning me. I promise.
